Music Video: Alessandra Amoroso - "Bellezza, incanto e nostalgia"

Si chiama "Bellezza, incanto e nostalgia" la proposta per questa estate di Alessandra Amoroso.

La canzone, contenuta nell'album disco di platino "Amore Puro", scritta da Tiziano Ferro, è caratterizzata da sonorità fresche, leggere, molto estive, benché sia intrisa di malinconia. 

Nel video musicale, rilasciato da poche ore sul canale Vevo di Alessandra, e diretto da Gaetano Morbioli, l'artista salentina, in splendida forma, è contornata da alcuni dei suoi amici di infanzia con i quali "rivive" un'estate tra giochi in spiaggia e falò.

"Bellezza, incanto e nostalgia" is the Alessandra Amoroso's proposal for this summer. 

The song, content in the platinum album "Amore Puro", written by Tiziano Ferro, is characterized by fresh and very summer sounds, although it has a very melancholy lyric. 

In the music video, released a few hours on the Alessandra's Vevo channel, directed by Gaetano Morbioli, the artist, in great shape, is surrounded by some of her childhood friends, with whom "lives" beach games and bonfires of a past summer.

Music Video: Marco Carta - "Splendida ostinazione"

Marco Carta è tornato con "Splendida Ostinazione", nuovo singolo da qualche giorno in rotazione radiofonica, primo posto tra i singoli più scaricati della settimana.

La canzone, dalle sonorità pop-rock, riesce a conquistare sin dal primo ascolto grazie al ritornello semplice, ma efficace. 

Rispetto agli esordi, il cantante sardo sembra più maturo e preciso, specie negli acuti e nelle parti alte (che nel brano non mancano, conferendogli vigore e pathos). 

Il brano è accompagnato da un videoclip a dire il vero un po' statico e monotono. 

Marco Carta is back with "Splendida ostinazione", his new single, first among the most downloaded singles in Italy. 

The song, with his pop-rock sounds, appears intresting from the very first listening thanks to the simple, but effective chorus. 

Compared to the beginning, the Sardinian singer seems more mature and precise, especially in the acute and in the upper parts of the song (which are not lacking in the song, giving it force and pathos). 

The song is accompanied by a music video a little static and monotonous.

Music video: Sabrina Salerno - "Colour me"

A 6 anni di distanza dal suo ultimo album, torna sulla scena musicale Sabrina Salerno. Il nome del nuovo singolo è "Colour me". Scritto da Sabrina Salerno e Mauro Lovisetto, il pezzo, dalle sonorità elettro-pop, è un po' sottotono nelle strofe, ma convincente nel ritornello.

Nel videoclip le parole del testo si sovrappongono ad immagini della cantante, che appare elegante ed in ottima forma. 

6 years after her last album, Sabrina Salerno is back on the music scene. The new single title is "Colour me". Written by Sabrina Salerno and Mauro Lovisetto, the song, that has an electro-pop sounds, it's a little 'subdued in the verses, but pleasant in the chorus. 

In the music video, the words of the lyric are superimposed on images of the singer, who looks elegant and always beautiful. 

Album: Michele Bravi - "A passi piccoli"

Testi e musiche ricercate caratterizzano "A passi piccoli", l'album di esordio di Michele Bravi. La qualità del cd è sostenuta da importanti firme. Tra tutte spiccano la mano di Giorgia, che ha scritto "In bilico", pezzo intenso che apre il cd, quella di Federico Zampaglione che ha firmato la commovente "Sotto una buona stella" (già conosciuta dal grande pubblico come colonna sonora del film omonimo), e quella di Tiziano Ferro, che oltre ad aver composto "La vita e la felicità", inedito presentato già durante "X Factor", ha scritto per il giovane cantante umbro "Non aver paura mai".
Nonostante Michele Bravi sia molto intonato, non sempre riesce ad essere convincente. Ciò è dovuto, in larga misura, a due fattori: in primis la giovane età, che lo rende (ahimè) poco credibile quando parla di amori finiti, intense delusioni o promesse in eterno, e, in secondo luogo, la voce, pulita, ma non ancora del tutto matura. 

Researched lyrics and music characterize "A passi piccoli", the debut album of Michele Bravi. The quality of the CD is supported by major authors. Among all, Giorgia, who wrote "In bilico", intensesong that opens the CD, Federico Zampaglione that have signed the moving "Sotto una buona stella" (formerly known by the general public as a soundtrack of the homonymous movie), and Tiziano Ferro, who have composed "La vita e la felicità", sung by Michele during "X Factor" and "Non aver paura mai".

Despite Michele Bravi is very in tune, not always he is able to be convincing. This is due, in large part, to two factors: first the young age, which makes it (alas) not credible when he talks about love gone, intense delusions or promises forever, and, secondly, the voice, clean, but not yet fully mature.

Album: Alizée - "Blonde"

Alizèe ci riprova. Da pochi giorni è uscito sul mercato francese (e in digitale in molti altri Paesi, Italia inclusa) "Blonde", sesto album studio.

Per l'occasione, la cantante di Ajaccio ha cambiato totalmente look, adottando un biondo che mal si addice con il suo incarnato, ma che certamente non passa inosservato. 

L'album è fresco ed accattivante, ricco di pezzi elletro-pop dai ritornelli decisamente chatchy. 

Dopo aver vinto l'edizione francese di "Ballando con le stelle", questo comeback sulla scena musicale rappresenta per Alizée un po' un banco di prova: dopo tre album poco venduti alle spalle... o la va o la spacca! Per l'occasione, la cantante ha puntato tutto sul pop, rinunciando alle sonorità più ricercate con cui aveva cercato di conquistare pubblico e critica (soprattutto con "Psychedelices" - 2007 - e "Une enfante du Siècle" - 2010 -).

"Alcaline", secondo singolo estratto, è molto radiofonico e ricorda un po' lo stile Farmer-Boutonnat degli esordi. Da segnalare, inoltre, per il testo, "Bi", brano contro i pregiudizi e gli stereotipi sulle relazioni same-sex ("E' sempre amore.."), mentre per le sonorità più "azzeccate" sono potenziali singoli "Charles est stone", "Ce qui tue l'amour", "K.-O" e "Mylène Farmer". Quest'ultima canzone, che porta il nome della celebre artista francese che ha scoperto e lanciato Alizée in giovane età, è un "tributo" indiretto. Racconta, infatti, la storia di una ragazza fidanzata con un fan della "Madonna francese", di cui è ossessionato. 

Alizée is again on the scene. A few days ago "Blonde", her sixth studio album, was released on the French market (and also in digital version in many other countries, including Italy).

For the occasion, the singer of Ajaccio has totally changed her look, adopting a blonde not in line to her complexion, but that certainly don't go unnoticed.

The album is fresh and captivating, full of  electro pop chatchy songs.

After winning the French edition of "Dancing with the Stars", the comeback on the music scene for Alizée is a bit a test after three albums sold a little behind! 

For the occasion, the singer has staked everything on the pop, giving up the more elaborate sounds with which she had tried to conquer public and critics (especially with "Psychedelices" - 2007 - and "Une enfant du Siècle" - 2010 -).

"Alcaline", the second single, is very radio and reminds the Farmer-Boutonnat style. Intresting songs are, for the lyric, "Bi", against prejudices and stereotypes about same-sex relationships ("It's always love .."), while as potential singles we have "Charles Est stone","Ce qui tue l'amour","K-O" and "Mylène Farmer". 

The last song, which has the name of the famous French artist who discovered Alizée, is an indirect "tribute". Alizée tells, in fact, the story of a girl engaged to an obsessed fan of the "French Madonna".

Music Video: Michelle Williams feat. Beyoncé & Kelly Rowland - "Say Yes"

Svolta mistica per Michelle Williams. Il suo nuovo singolo da solista, "Say Yes", è, infatti, una cover in chiave pop di "When Jesus Say Yes" , brano del gruppo nigeriano Mount Zion Singers dedicato a Gesù. Per l'occasione, l'ex Destiny's Child, ha riunito il gruppo, coinvolgendo le ben più celebri Beyoncé e Kelly Rowland. La canzone, che strizza l'occhio al gospel, a dire il vero, è musicalmente accattivante e coinvolgente, così come il video. Tuttavia, il testo religioso le fa perdere tutto l'appeal.

Mystique comeback for Michelle Williams. Her new solo single, "Say Yes," is, in fact, a pop version cover of "When Jesus Say Yes", a song of the Nigerian group Mount Zion Singers dedicated to Jesus. For the occasion, the ex Destiny's Child brought together the group, involving the much more famous Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland. The song, with its gospel sound, it's musically captivating and engaging, as well as video. However, the religious lyric makes it lose all its appeal.

News: Sia - "Eye of the Needle"

In attesa dell'uscita di "1000 Forms of Fear", sul mercato dall'8 luglio, Sia ha rilasciato un nuovo singolo: "Eye of the Needle".

Non siamo ai livelli di "Chandelier", primo singolo estratto, che riesce a conquistare sin dal primo ascolto.

"Eye of the Needle" è comunque di un pezzo valido, che diventa sempre più intenso mano a mano che si sviluppa, ma che ha bisogno di qualche ascolto in più per essere pienamente apprezzato, entrare in testa e non uscirne più.

Waiting for "1000 Forms of Fear", that will be available from July 8th, Sia has released a new single, "Eye of the Needle". 

The level is not the same of "Chandelier", the first single, able to be appreciated from the very first listening. 

However, "Eye of the Needle" is a valid song, which becomes more intense with time; it only needs some more listening to be fully appreciated, get in your head and don't go more out.
